Just save up for rocket troops—I went from level 3 to 8. Map—I spawn 5 rocket troops next to each other, as far back as possible; two turns later, I spawn another 5 as close to them as possible, and I keep going like that. If needed, I use one or two to clear the blue squares so they don’t spawn behind me...They move like a wall and face almost no obstacles. The only problem was the Hive, which was already spawning a huge number of units from a distance... At Level 9, I handled it similarly, but instead of rocket troops, I used walkers—five went for the center, another five cleared out the snipers and the hive, and then I just destroyed their base
At worst, if you’re short on cash (which I doubt), just waste one life (you have 3) at the highest level possible, and it’ll give you a pretty nice cash windfall...
