Parking Fury

Much better than PARKING MANIA

Parking Fury may be just another one of a billion parking games, but it still manages to offer something the others don’t—namely, great graphics and high-quality gameplay. The car handling is fairly realistic; although the physics could use some improvement, it’s smooth and intuitive. The background music is relatively unremarkable, though it’s hard to say whether it would even be better if some dubstep were distracting you from your concentration. At first glance, 10 levels might not seem like much, but the game can reliably keep you entertained for half an hour—or even an hour if you’re not particularly skilled. This is primarily due to the detailed design of each level, where—unusually—you gradually control several vehicles at once in order to park them into increasingly difficult, narrower, and generally less spacious parking spots. The game’s design is truly well-executed; the graphics, as already mentioned, are breathtaking, and the individual levels are fantastically detailed. My rating: 8/10.
