Texas Holdem Poker

This game doesn't rely on chance. The probability of low numbers completely rules out such "coincidences"—that I would make it to the final table with the last remaining player twenty times over the course of a few dozen games, and lose 19 of those head-to-head all-ins. During the card-dealing process, my opponent won 12 of those times because his winning card didn’t come until the river. On top of that, the bots are playing together against you. For example, you’re among the last three players in the game; you fold, and a bot with only 12 chips left bets 12 on a board showing 4, 3, and 7, while the bot playing against him—who has over 900 chips—folds. :-D Who would do that with that much credit? What was the risk in folding against such ridiculously low community cards and not calling your opponent’s last 12 chips when you have 900 yourself? :-D

It’s a bit of a b***h when the cards aren’t dealt randomly, and when you’re not playing against individual players, but literally all the bots at the table are against you. It’s glaringly obvious. When you check, everyone else bets. When you fold, two-thirds of the others fold too. Out of ten all-in showdowns when you’re at the table with one other player, you’ll win one and lose nine. Sometimes it’s downright funny. You have two aces in your hand, there are two tens on the board, and the last two cards—even if your opponent has a 2 and a 3 in their hand—will be threes. You can almost bet on it :-D If there are four players left and you don’t bet the big or small blind and fold, you can bet that the remaining players won’t play against each other at all. One of them will raise by ten, and the others will fold. That’s what they’ll keep doing until it’s your turn and you bet. Then suddenly they’ll all start checking or bluffing, but not a single one will fold. If you’re playing against the four remaining players at the table, you can bet that those four will suddenly start winning randomly so that all four end up with roughly the same amount. It’s funny when you have four players at the table—three of them have 200 each, and one of them has only 5 chips left—and suddenly that one goes on a five-win streak to get up to 200 as well:-D Or the one with few chips bets on three flop cards—a 4, a 7, and a 9—and the other bots fold, even if they have 400 chips. What are the odds they’d have worse cards if they’d just checked? :-D It basically works like a slot machine at a bar. “Randomness” according to the program.
