Mars Colonies

I’ve been playing this game for quite a while, but I haven’t figured out what it’s all about. In my opinion, the game is confusing, and the graphics aren’t what I expected either. When putting the pipes together, I’m often not sure if they’re even connecting properly. The game’s background is probably made up of many graphic pieces that don’t fit together well, which gives me the feeling that there’s a complete lack of cohesion among the game elements (e.g., Pipe). Otherwise, the game’s concept is pretty good, but the execution seems quite behind the times given today’s programming capabilities. I hope I haven’t been too critical of the developers.

Done—it’ll take a couple of hours ;-) I’m missing a few extra upgrades there, which is a real shame :/ Otherwise, I wouldn’t criticize the design or graphics; the creator surely wanted to make something different...
P.S.: Don’t forget about O2 :D Then the clouds start gathering over the scientists...

It also depends on the color of the soil—dark soil indicates a water deposit, and light soil indicates iron.

Mars Colonies might be a pretty good game, but most players won’t get that far because of the English, and—just like me—they won’t understand the game. If you skip the extremely boring and drawn-out tutorial, you won’t have a chance to understand the game. The graphics aren’t great, and the game is probably pretty formulaic. My rating: 3/10.
