SAVING THE GAME: Of course, you can only save in Tuner Mode; the buttons in the upper-right corner are Quit, Save, and Options. Click SAVE. When you exit and restart the game, you can continue your career by clicking the Continue button in the lower-right corner of the screen. Money tip for Tuner Mode: If you don’t have a very powerful car, race against the Volkswagen Jetta (you can bet the most money on it in the first car class)—the maximum bet is 2,120. Once you’ve bought all the DRacer GT parts and mastered the nitro trick, save your game (so you can reload it in case you lose), then race against the McLaren F1 and bet 68,157 (the maximum lead the McLaren will have). Once you win, keep racing with the McLaren—you’ll make a lot of money in no time. TIP for Tuning in Arcade Mode: Buy a McLaren and race against a car you can beat. In the lower right corner, you’ll see your REP points (when you have 1,000, you can buy 1 upgrade); once you have, say, 20,000, buy a car you like and select “Performance”—you use those plus signs to buy tuning parts. That’s how easily you can tune your car to the max! Otherwise, in Tuner Mode, I have a Volkswagen Jetta and a BMW M5 (which hits 503 mph in the 2,000-meter race), and a Subaru Impreza. There are also cars I’ve won in races, like a few Honda Civics, a Honda CRX, a Plymouth Cuda, and so on...
