Look at the painting—you should be able to do this if you have that device turned on. Click on the painting, and you’ll see the face of a dead girl with blood on her head. Go back and close the door. Go straight ahead, then through the light-colored door on the left. There, the entire wall is splattered with blood, and you’ll find the code: 1856. Go back and close the door. Go to the right; there’s a painting of your room there. Click on the safe above the desk and enter the code 1856. Inside, you’ll find a knife and bloody photos of a girl—exactly the same as the one you picked up at the beginning in your room. You think you killed that girl. Go back to the hallway and head forward. Then go through the brightly lit door on the right and throw the knife and the photos into the fire. Close the door. Then go through the brightly lit door on the left. WARNING—I RECOMMEND TURNING OFF THE SOUND BEFORE YOU CLICK ON THE MIRROR! It will shatter, the dead girl’s face will appear again, and there will be blood on the mirror.

Double-click the hole with the mouse. Then look inside the container and pick up the magazine, the puzzle piece, and the orange fish. Step back. Use the key on the electrical box on the wall of the room and press the buttons in various combinations. After each press, click on the electrified wheel to make sure it doesn’t fall out. Once it falls out, step back and pick it up. Then place a piece of bread or fish in front of the mouse hole, leave, and come back. Look at the mouse’s fur—it has notches in it. Go back to the girl, use the puzzle on her, talk to her, and she’ll disappear, leaving you a box of puzzle pieces. You have to assemble them like this: place the largest piece—which looks a bit like a camera with a crank—in the middle. Place the smaller, similarly colored piece below it, where the hole is. Set it on top and secure it with the small brown wheel, placing it over the hole. Place the smaller, bottle-like piece on the left side of the first part and the other one on the right side. Place the antenna-like piece on the left side of the small brown part you secured with the wheel. And place the light bulb on the larger bottle (actually, behind it). Then insert the electrified wheel into the small hole near the handle. You’ve assembled it, and as soon as text appears on the screen, press ON.

You can look at various mysterious things, such as the bird in the window that’s staring at you. Take the photo of the girl from the table and go left. Pick up the envelope labeled “Eddie” from the floor and open it. There’s a broken lightbulb inside. Keep it for now. Open the door on the right and take the pills from the broken mirror by the sink. Then look through the peephole on the brown door. You’ll see the shadow of a figure. When you look there again, it won’t be there anymore. Then click on the phone and chat with Frank. Go left into the kitchen, take the onion and the rotten bread from the table. Then go left again and use the light bulb on the light fixture. Terrifying memories will flash before your eyes, and you’ll find yourself in a completely unfamiliar room with two doors. There’s mysterious music playing, and your head hurts again. Click on the washing machine—or whatever it is. Go up the stairs, and you’ll find yourself in a room where a strange girl is sitting. Talk to her, and she’ll tell you she’s missing the last piece of the puzzle. Go through the dark door on the right and take the key from the table. Go back and try going through the door on the left. There’s a hallway there that goes on forever. So go back and turn right. Double-click the hole with your mouse.
