So far, I've reached level 12, and I'm using this strategy: First, I build five cacti and upgrade them to level 3, then I build three level 0 fountains, followed by five of the strongest dwarves, which I upgrade to level 1; then I upgrade the fountains to level 1; and finally, I gradually upgrade the cacti to level 4 and the dwarves to level 2.

Hmmm... It's not bad. You just have to know how to do it.

It's great, but it could use more levels—I'm already getting bored.

I reached Level 14 by first placing 8 cacti and upgrading them to Level 3, then I placed 3 fountains between them and upgraded them to Level 1; next, I placed the 6 strongest gnomes throughout the garden and upgraded them to Level 1; then I upgraded the cacti to Level 4, and then the fountains again ;)

It's great—I highly recommend growing roses.

You need to use this cheat: Click on the dwarf—preferably the strongest one—so that he’s inside the green circle. Then press the A key, aim with the mouse, and click. The dwarf will then shoot really fast. Be careful—you might end up shooting your own. In my opinion, it’s best to position the dwarf so that he’s aiming at the front of the line of monsters, not at the tree. Aim at the spot where they’re coming out, keep that little green circle at the beginning of the line of monsters at all times, and click rapidly.

I'm at level 14, and I'm building nothing but dwarves—as many as my funds will allow—but those bastards are going to get through anyway...

It's probably the very, very, very best strategy game—maybe you like a different one, but who cares? :D
