I love these Cover Front games :D

These games are amazing—the creator of "Cover Front" must have had a really vivid imagination :) This game is just amazing! I really enjoy it! :) And I love all the installments! :)

Part 3: The first door on the left leads to the janitor’s closet, where—with your permission—we’ll grab a screwdriver from a discarded toolbox. The second door on the left leads to the radio room. To get the equipment here up and running, we need to get the power supply panel (the cabinet at the top right) working in the janitor’s closet, so we’ll use the screwdriver to remove the screws and clips, and we’ll use the fuse, both resistors, and a piece of wire to replace the middle resistor. And lo and behold—it’s working! In the radio room, we’ll focus on the transmission panel—we’ll unscrew the cover marked with the letters tr-p-bl (could it stand for “trotl pablb”? Nah, probably not) and plug the cable into the jacks. As Agent Kara, we’ll send a dispatch. By pressing the button, we’ll receive a response from the output panel with a flashing light. We’ll get a slip with this week’s code (last week’s is lying around down below).

Part 4: The code is used to open the door to the film storage room. The keypad operates on a trial-and-error basis, so we first need to figure out which button corresponds to each digit. Anyone with a bit of common sense will surely figure this out :) We’ll take film reel 3 from the storage room. In the projection room, we’ll check the camera footage to confirm that we were indeed being watched in von Toten’s house. We’ll remove film reel 1 from its holder and examine all three films. Film 3 is the most interesting; among other things, it reveals the sequence of the mechanical locks that open the elevator. We memorize the combination, take all the films with us, and make our escape. We set the mechanical locks according to the pattern shown in the film and hurry to the elevator. There’s a button on the right wall that takes us up to the city. We hand our items over to our superior, receive a business card with a simple assignment for our next task, and set off through the deserted nighttime city toward Episode 3!

So I’ll put it here myself: We’re in those catacombs we ended up in during the previous episode. It’s pitch black everywhere. We go straight ahead (clicking on the stones won’t reveal anything :) and ignore the tunnel entrance for now. We just keep going straight until we hit a wall. Upon closer inspection, we notice that three bricks are sticking out. We push them, thereby releasing the lever on the electrical device (which is probably some kind of precursor to a generator) located on the left in the next screen. Now we start the device by pressing the button. Let there be light! The hatch above the ladder is blocked, so we’ll just have to make our way through this underground chaos. Take Resistor 1 from the device.

Part 2: We return to the hallway with three lights on the ceiling. We turn left where the hallway splits. On the right, pick up resistor 3; on the left, pull the lever to unlock the entrance to the underground lab. Head to the entrance of the red tunnel and hop inside. Explore both tunnel passages—in the left one, pick up the fuse and enjoy the atmosphere of the nighttime landscape through the bars :) In the right one, pick up the film reel 2 from the ground. The elevator doors are (for now) closed. And now, off to the living quarters. They’re past the entrance to the underground laboratory, which is to the right of both tunnels. There are five doors in the room. Below is a photo of Kara in front of von Toten’s painting. So someone knows we’ve already been to his house. From the two doors on the right, we’ll take a piece of red wire—since Resistor 2 is simply nowhere to be found—and a cable as well. What caught my attention was that smoke is constantly rising from the coffee mugs. Could it be that they’ve invented eternal coffee here?

As I'm reading through these comments, most people are as smart as a radio again, but as for someone posting a complete guide here—no way :-D

I know now :DDD You'll find the code if you place the transparent piece between the two switches in that room on the left, closer to you, move the lever, go to the room with the typewriter, connect the colored wires, then type a message (by clicking on the typewriter), and a piece of paper will pop out with the code :DD

I've played this game at least 10 times already, and I forgot one of those film reels again, so I had to go back again. :D And this ALWAYS happens to me when I play this game. :D
